Hello Everyone,
What a spring it has been on our farm! The warmer weather has really helped the pastures grow for our chickens. We still have lambs being born, and our cattle are growing nicely. Our regenerative farming system looks like it will give us fresh, green grass for many months ahead, especially after last weeks rain. The new farm locations on the Goulburn River and at Rubicon are working out really well, and all our animals have settled in nicely.
Our next flock of beautiful pasture raised chickens will be available on Wednesday the 7th of November.
This flock is slightly smaller then the last batch (as we continue to learn, and juggle with the best sized flocks to raise). We are selling them for $30 each, so please reply to this email with the number you would like, as soon as possible to avoid missing out!
We will be delivering to Coburg, Healesville and Alexandra.
Can you believe that Christmas is less than 10 weeks away (sorry to scare you)? We have already planned for our next flock (the Christmas flock we are calling them) to be ready around the week before Christmas. We will open Christmas orders pretty soon, so please get thinking about how many chickens you would like for your family over Christmas. We will be having a break after Christmas and won't be growing chickens during the hot summer months (which meat chickens don't like very much), so the Christmas flock is the last batch until early next year!
P.S. Have you tried our friends (and neighbours) ethical pork yet from Taggarts Paddock Pork? We are really loving it, and can highly recommend it! Our family rule has been for the last few years that we didn't eat any meat unless we grew it ourselves, but we broke this rule with Taggarts Paddock Pork, and it was worth it!!
