Prom Coast Food Collective

Untitled-2

The day before the Collective's second birthday, the figure of $351,590.20...and on how small steps matter.
$351,590.20. This is the figure which has set our minds racing. This is the amount which the Collective has taken in sales over the past two years.

100% of this money stays with the Collective's farmers and makers. No exceptions.

Tomorrow, when orders open for April, the Collective "turns two". It is our birthday. And it has made us reflect on what we have created. We are very comfortable admitting that this is all an experiment. One beautiful, delicious, ethical, fun, experiment.

And it has worked.

Which leads us to think about how "small steps matter". When the enormity of changing the food system seems daunting, when we are trying to feed our families better, when we want to make everyday changes to our consumption habits, it can feel as though our actions are a drop in the ocean.

But together...

$351, 590.20 has been collectively put into the hands of small-scale organic and regenerative farmers and all that organic food, on your tables.

Your consumer spending is so powerful.

Small actions, small steps, they matter.

On behalf of all the Collective farmers and makers, we thank each and every one of you. Thank you. To the once-only shoppers, the never-miss-a-month shoppers, the dropoff hosts, gorgeous volunteers and well-wishers. Thank you.

Here's to the years to come.

We hope to see you in April, and beyond.

Sally and Amelia.
