Friends of Edgar's Creek

Untitled-2

Hi to you All,

Well, unlike our two last plantings the water pump is not going to be the star of the show again, though it will certainly be really helpful! It is nice to be sending out this email knowing that there is some moisture working its way into the ground after some reasonable rains in the past few weeks.

We will be doing our usual planting thing on Sunday with trees, shrubs, reeds and grasses finding new homes on the north side of the Sheoak woodland area - up the top of the escarpment area, closer to Livingstone Street.

The forecast is for a cracker of a day (especially considering it is June) - 16 degrees and sunny/slight cloud with a light northerly breeze.
Details as per the calendar:
Sunday 16 June 2019, 1-3.00pm. Planting: Sheoak woodland extension and consolidation – at the top of the escarpment, northern end. Hosted by the FoEC, Funded by Satterley Property group. Meet at the escarpment – access by foot from the old Kodak bridge, Spectrum Way, North Coburg (or from Livingstone Street if you can handle a stoney creek crossing)

We will have people on site before 1.00PM as is usual for us so if you need to do an early effort with early leave, we would be happy to receive your help. Otherwise, come on down and hang out for a cuppa afterwards.

See you on the creek!

David.
