Hi All,
A it late with this notice; sorry about that.....
However, we have our final planting event of the season this coming Sunday from 1-3PM.
It is to be followed by what we know as "Christmas in September" where we have a catered celebration of the planting season.
We are undertaking a shrub and grassland extension along the M9 easement area (west side of the creek) under the manna gums.
The planting is funded by Melbourne Water's Community grants program and the Christmas celebrations is hosted and partly funded by the FoEC. Meet at the Ronald Street footbridge area, Ronald Street, North Coburg (west side of creek).
As always, we will be down there well before the 1PM kick off. Unfortunately there could be some rain on our parade, showers are predicted for the afternoon and evening so get on down early to beat the rain if you're averse to some precipitation. It is still forecast to be 21 degrees though so likely a little humidity about. For those who don't shrink or run in the rain, come down whenever and just be smart in your clothing and footwear choices! we will have some marquee coverage available...
See you on the creek!
David.
