Divestment Talk

THIS SATURDAY (19th of Oct) - Divestment talk at the Newlands Neighbourhood House 2-4pm.

Is your money doing good? Guest speaker from Market Forces, Pablo Brait, will share with us how we can use our power as customers to ensure that banks, super funds and insurance companies are using our money in a way that helps fight the climate crisis rather than fuel it. He will also explain how the finance sector supports the expansion of climate-wrecking fossil fuels and how we can work to stop that flow of money. Bring a laptop or other device so we can get right down to business in the second part of this session.
