Room for rent, short term (3-6 months).

Short term room rental available (3-6 months) $160 per week in Reservoir, bills included. 

Our room for rent would suit someone who is currently working or studying from home or a traveller needing somewhere safe to isolate for a few months.  Strictly only accepting renters who are serious about abiding by the current social distancing/isolation rules.

The available room:

Can be furnished with single bed and desk, or can be unfurnished. Price includes bills and wifi. Room is private and bright with built in robe and large window.  Shared bathroom facilities with bath, shower and separate toilet.  

The house:

3 bedroom unit in quiet location.  Shared living areas and a small backyard garden. Other features include dishwasher, air conditioning and ducted heating. The house is open and light-filled.  Storage available in garage, garage also available as a workshop space. Street parking.

About us:

My son and I live together with our hypoallergenic indoor dog Keeper, and 2 free range budgerigars. We are friendly, easy-going and live a low impact life; being conscious of taking care of our planet and local environment. 

We love living in Reservoir. We are close to Edwards Lake Park, where there is a sports precinct, a gorgeous lake to walk around (1.5km around the lake), and lots of picnic spots. 

We are also close to the Reservoir shopping centre.  

My son is 11, he loves sports and video games. He has a great sense of humour and likes meeting new people.

I have worked as a social worker and have lived in overseas countries for 10 years of my life. I love cooking and gardening. I am not currently working.

We would love a housemate who we can get to know a bit and share some meals with.  We are also happy to give you your own space and quiet.  We are happy to share information about Melbourne and our culture if you are not from around here.
