Hi my name is Edith and with my sister we have been making covid-19 masks out of brightly coloured fabrics. They are similar to the ones we saw when we went to Vietnam last year on a family holiday before the virus changed our world. Our masks are double thickness, washable, reusable and they can be pleated in the front or non pleated ( see pictures).
We have been charging $10 dollars per mask, and are happy if people wish to supply their own fabric to make a more personalised custom mask.
Before pickup we iron the masks at a high temperature. Pick up is from our letterbox in the Newlands area or by arrangement. Payment can be made by cash on pick up or via EFT.
