Looking for: Parents of Young People in North-West Melbourne (aged 12-25 years)
We are inviting parents of young people in the north-west region to take part in Start (a 1.5 hour suicide alertness training program). If you agree to participate you will be asked to participate in Start and answer a series of short questionnaires over 3 time points. Parents who complete all three questionnaires will receive a $25 Coles Myers voucher.
LivingWorks Start is a brief, interactive community training to increase awareness of suicide and develop basic skills at intervening with someone who is considering suicide.
Proficiency in the English language is a requirement for participants in this study because you will need to be able to understand the information provided through the program and complete the questionnaires.
