Enjoy nearby nature with a few nature clues for a walk in your own time! Come on this exciting virtual walk and talk on National Threatened Species Day amongst the locally significant grasslands around Merri Creek in Whittlesea. This event is free and suitable for adults and children (aged 6 and above). Registration is essential - HERE We’ll be taking you through the beautiful Galada Tamboore which is a special place for the Traditional Owners of this area, the Wurundjeri people. Galada Tamboore is a natural bushland that is home to local threatened species, including birds, frogs, reptiles, and rare plants. Come discover and learn more about these fascinating species that are part of our bushland backyard. Funded by the City of Whittlesea.
