Going Off-Grid in the City:
In this session, Michael will discuss how to go about gaining approvals from inner-city councils, and give you his tips for dealing with policies, bylaws, bureaucrats and the broader community. He will look at land contracts for purchasing land in the city, and how to find designers, engineers and other professionals that you may need to engage along the way including key clauses and negotiation tips. He will also cover some key data that you would need to consider before, during and after buying and building, including zoning, rates, council policies, weather, access, water, sewage, energy, food, and safety considerations
