We hope you're all doing well! We are excited to see the numbers of infections in Melbourne drop and hope to see you in the houses soon. In the meantime, take a look at our online program for spring!

The focus for this term is self-care - we’re offering a range of activities that can help balance your mind, body, and heart. To book in, just follow the links below.

Climate Action Series | Understanding the Fossil Fuel Industry in Australia - October 10th, 2pm

Join this session run by Clancy Moore, National Director of Publish What You Pay Australia* who will be talking us through the impact of fossil fuel mining on our communities and what we can do about it! Queers Draw This - starting October 16th with models from the East Brunswick Entertainment Festival

Margaret is back with her drawing series for the LGBTIQ+ community. You may have seen the East Brunswick Entertainment Festival Dancers on TVyour paper, or dancing up a storm on their front porch IRL. So get ready because this amazing quartet of local celebs will be modeling for the opening night of Queers Draw This on October 16th! Snap up your ticket here as these will go fast! HomeBodies Yoga - starting 14th October

Introducing Mia from HomeBodies! - Mia, a qualified trauma-informed facilitator and presents invitations rather than instructions. In her new online yoga class with NECCHi, Mia will guides you to observe the change that can occur when you’re invited to explore your bodily autonomy and deepen your relationship with choice making. Mia's class will be on Wednesday mornings - you can register for her class here. This is a paid class.

Zoom Playgroup

After a hiatus due to COVID, our playgroup with Rose will return via zoom! This is a great chance to play and learn with your child and connect with other parents and carers. Places in playgroup are limited so if you're interested, make sure you book in soon. You can register here. This is a paid activity.

Hatha Yoga with Trish - starting 13th October

Trish has been a yoga instructor with NECCHi and many of us have missed her hatha yoga classes. We're pleased to announce that Trishes yoga class will return this term for an online class. Trish's Yoga class is for beginners through to more experienced students who want to learn the foundations of Yoga. Trish will teach poses, alignment, use of props and breathing practices. Register by clicking here. This is a paid class.

Merri Creek Discovery

If you would like a closer connection with the Merri creek, join Nita, our resident Forest Therapist, for this four-week, self-guided course. Learn and connect with the history and plants of the creek - register here. This is a paid activity.

Community Cooking

There is something for everyone in our weekly video community cooking series - vegetarian, vegan, kid-friendly and more. Highlights include Kibbeh with Amne, Fasolia and Babaganoush from Aheda, and Carrot Curry with Niro from Tamil Feasts! You can register for this FREE event here.

Arts and Craft Share

Come along to learn something new and share your art and craft projects with other creative people. Week one, we will learn how to make a concertina book - a great little object that you can use to create a storybook or showcase your drawings or paintings. This is a FREE activity - register here.
