Women's Guitar Group is very excited to announce our very first guitar skills workshop for all interested female guitar students and players, whether you are currently learning through Women's Guitar Group or not.
Helen Begley is a well known Melbourne singer songwriter, folk musician, founder of Chicks with Picks and my teacher for many years. She has extensive experience in teaching guitar and ukulele to women and girls of all ages, and is known for her warm and encouraging style of teaching. This will be a treat!
The focus of this workshop will be on strumming techniques, particularly palm muting and varied patterns, to add variety and interest to your guitar playing.
The workshop will cater for students from beginner to developing - if you know most open chords, then you are ready for this workshop!
