We are all systems go for the last few weeks of term. Tai Chi, Stretch & Release, Queers Draw This and our gardening groups are all back in the house.

All are welcome to spend the morning doing a range of activities including planting, weeding, harvesting, seed-saving, seed-raising, chatting, sharing skills and sharing lunch. There are two important events for Necchi in December - our annual end of year celebration and food fest! We will be celebrating our community garden, eating some delicious Tamil food from Niro, enjoying some entertainment from the amazing Wurundjeri Djirri Djirri dancers, and the Wurundjeri Woi Wurung naming of the garden. We also can't wait to install the bird baths that the community made during the Earthen Habitations Artist Residency.
We also have a Working Bee on the 18th of December 10-1, and we'd love your help! We are giving the front of Newlands Community Centre a big spruce for the end of the year. We will be building two planter boxes, working some soil and a few other jobs that need doing. BYO your own gloves & free coffee and lunch after.
