NECCHI Party

End of Year Party at NECCHi Newlands! Come on down next Wednesday night from 4-7pm at Newlands for our end of year party! We will be celebrating the community garden, installing our Earthen Habitations bird bath, admiring the new fence, eating some delicious food from Niro and having a little dance to see out the end of year. Oh, and we will also have a raffle going for some great NECCHi prizes. RSVP here.  We will also be celebrating that we now have a woi wurrung name for the garden: wayi, meaning 'us'. We are very grateful to work and live on Wurundjeri land and have worked with Elders from Wurundjeri Council to give the space and garden a name developed in conversation with the traditional owners of the lands that Necchi works, cooks, plants and plays on. If you would like to hear Aunty Gail from Wurundjeri Council pronounce the name please click here.  It has been a big year for NECCHi, and we would love to see you and share a plate - the Wurundjeri Welcome to Country starts at 4pm, and food will be served from 5pm. NEWLANDS WORKING BEE Saturday 18th December! We need your help! We want the front of Newlands to look as good as the back, so we are giving the front a big spruce for the end of the year. We will be building two planter boxes, working some soil, planting and getting busy with a few other odd jobs that need doing. BYO gloves, and we will feed you free coffee and lunch after. Book here so we know catering numbers.  🚨 2022 Program Coming Soon! 🚨  Our Term 1 program is cooking away like a beautiful Christmas ham in the oven! We're putting together a delicious share platter of all our faves - playgroups, screen printing, stretching, gardening, passata parties, walks along the merri merri and more!  The program will open for bookings on Tuesday 11th January, so mark it in your calendars - you're not going to want to miss out!  Closing for Holiday Break NECCHi houses will be closed from the 20th of December to the 4th of January.
