Hello, Neighbours!

We are a 2-person family (mum and 4yo) looking for a rental property in the area starting in April this year. We’ve been fortunate enough to make this wonderful community our home, and we’re hoping to find a new place nearby where we can continue to build on the relationships and memories we’ve cherished here.

We’re a family with a strong commitment to our local community. I work as a Clinical Nurse Consultant, and my son is currently enrolled at Barry Beckett (aiming to go to Newlands PS next year with all his friends). We are looking for a 2-bedroom property, with at least a small amount of outdoor space.

We love everything about this area — the people, the connections, the creek, the businesses, and the sense of belonging we’ve developed. We’re looking for a long-term rental property where we can continue to nurture these important ties and grow as a family. I take great pride in maintaining a home, whether it’s decorating or tending to the garden. I believe these qualities would make us an excellent match for any landlord or property manager who values tenants who care for their home with respect and attention to detail.

We are proud pet owners of a well-behaved dog and cat, both of whom have been part of our family for over five years. They’re calm, friendly, and always under control. Neither has caused any damage or disruptions, and we ensure they’re well-cared for at all times. We understand the importance of being responsible pet owners and take every measure to keep them well-behaved and respectful of our home and neighbours.

We are seeking a place that we can truly call home — a property where we can continue to enjoy our family life, foster strong relationships with our neighbours, and continue being active, positive members of this amazing community. Our goal is to find a home that we can stay in long-term, bringing stability and care to the property while continuing to contribute to the neighbourhood.
