Friends of Merri Creek @Edgars Creek in 2026

Hello again and may I present you a very late calendar of events on Edgars Creek in 2026!

We (more so I) have been very slow off the mark this year - I think that after putting in as many years of work as I have, I deserve to take a break if I need to, so I did.

We have a limited calendar of events for this year. We will plant, perform maintenance and join with Merri Bek Council as we have done for many years for a National Tree Day event (behind the Coburg Outdoor Pool).

The break has also helped me think more about what activities we will focus on in 2027 and a number of ideas are brewing already, with some possible new sites for 2027.

Please note that the time of day for our activities has changed. We will now run all of our activities routinely from 10.00 AM to 12.00 noon (not the old time slot of 1.00-3.00 PM time).

We will be doing maintenance at the Ronald Street site this Sunday May 31st - 10.00 AM - 12.00 noon. There are guards to clean up, stakes to reclaim and also some handweeding.
