Waring/Winter Sale with Music Come and join us at the Rain Moth Community Nursery sale, 2.00 - 3.30pm, Saturday 26 July in the community garden at Newlands Neighbourhood House (or inside if the weather dictates). The sale will be CASH ONLY

It may be cold, but the days are getting longer, and it's a great time of year for indigenous planting. As always, we'll have a big range of local, native plants for your nature strip or garden as well as edible seedlings and beneficial flowers, all for only a gold coin each.  The tables will be a bit more spread out this time to give everyone some more space to browse and chat. We will have music from DJ On Milk, and you can take time to enjoy some books on plants, wildlife, First Nations culture, system change, and more from the new Rain Moth library collection.  Part of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to Grandmothers Against Removal (GMAR). GMAR Victoria draws on the wisdom, strength and compassion of Aboriginal grandmas and aunties to support children and their families at risk of separation. Pots If you have bought plants from us before, please return our pots at the sale. Especially the little tubes - they are hard to find! We use the small pots to help to reduce the use of plastic and potting mix. We reuse all of our pots where possible, which is much less energy intensive than recycling pots. And it helps us save money too. Thanks so much!

Newlands Neighbourhood House is at 20 Murray Rd, Coburg North, and can be accessed from the 526 and 527 buses (1 min walk), No. 11 tram (8 min walk) or No. 1 tram (13 min walk). It is also very close to the Merri Creek bike trail.
