Lovely pink bike, needs a new inner tube and a tiny bit of love but essentially in good working order.

Ceiling fan, brand new in box, comes with all the bits and bobs required (it is only the box that is a tiny bit water damaged).

And last of all a freezer, three drawers for easy access!! It is about the height of a 2.5 year old!

Pilates

Untitled-2

These local pilates classes are great!!!!

Pilates is an excellent form of exercise, recommended for a wide range of ages from teenagers to seniors.  Our sessions are available for beginners and those experienced in the Pilates method.

Development of core strength is the primary aim, however the entire body is used to gain functional strength, flexibility, and to correct muscle imbalances. The muscles are stretched and strengthened and integrated with the use of correct breathing patterns to aid mental calm and focus.

Initial Assessment - $60 – 60 minutes
Your qualified instructor will conduct a full body postural and range of motion assessment to identify areas for improvement.   An individualised program is then developed based on your requirements.

Mat Pilates Group Sessions – 10 sessions: $185.  Casual: $20 per session.  – 60 minutes.
Your Mat Pilates Group session will involve exercises conducted as a group for the first 45 minutes, followed by 15 minutes where each person undertakes their individualised program developed from their initial assessment.

Your instructor is university qualified and highly experienced, and with a maximum of 8 participants per group, you will receive quality instruction throughout.

Edgar's Mission

URGENT PLEA FOR LOVING & SAFE HOMES FOR RESCUED BATTERY HENS

Without your urgent help we cannot save them all and they will be sent to slaughter next week. Edgar’s Mission has been contacted yet again by a battery hen farmer who has had a change of heart and wants to exit the industry. Most importantly, he wants to spare his hens the fate of being slaughtered.  But we have a problem, we need to collect and rehome the hens this coming weekend (Saturday the 11th and Sunday 12th of May) as we simply do not have the room to accommodate an extra 800 chickens here at the sanctuary. Here’s how you can help:

  1. Open your heart and home to one or more rescued battery hens
  2. Donate to our medical fighting fund to ensure we can provide veterinary care to those hens who require it.
  3. Volunteer at the sanctuary this Saturday, Sunday or Monday (you will need to be at the farm by 9.30am).

IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ -Those wishing to adopt a hen will need to complete our Prospective Adoption Form. When picking up your new feathered family members, you will need to bring suitable carry cages or boxes that can comfortably accommodate the number of hens you wish to adopt. Hens must be collected from Edgar’s Mission, 365 McHargs Road, Willowmavin, Victoria, this Saturday 11th May from noon or Sunday 12th May from 9.30am.  Special arrangements can be made for Monday collection but it is imperative the hens are rehomed ASAP.  This is an enormous undertaking to move such a large number of hens in such a short space of time but we truly believe we can pull this off.  Please don’t let us or the hens down and please share far and wide.
