We would love to find someone happy to take on some minor house-sitting responsibilities like checking in on chickens but we can probably ask neighbours to do most of that or temporarily rehouse pets. I'm upgrading my sofa, so have the old one available FOR FREE!  It has been well loved by the cats and humans, but although about 12 y.o and in need of a new cover, it is structurally sound.

It is an IKEA Ektorp 2-seat sofa - so pre-made covers are available at IKEA.

The only catch is you will have to pick it up to take it from Preston.

Open Gate at Peppertree Place in June With our new neighbours the Coburg Farmers Market opening next door, we have been opening our cafe every Saturday (not just the 1st Saturday of each month) to see what the passing trade would look like - and quite frankly it looks great!! We've been welcoming new visitors and customers who have never been to Peppertree before - never knew we existed (we get that a lot!). While we appreciate all that our volunteers do to keep this going, we acknowledge that it will be a huge challenge for us to sustain into the future.
